Who we are

This website is operated by Themoe India Private Limited ("THE MOE", "we", "us"), registered in India and based at T-Hub, Hyderabad Knowledge City, Serilingampally, Hyderabad 500081, India. We are the data controller for personal data collected through this site.

What we collect

1. Information you give us in a form

Our enquiry forms on the Contact and Resources pages ask for the following. Name, organisation and email address are required; the rest are optional.

• Name, organisation, role
• Email address and, on the Contact form, phone number
• Country, sector, intended use case and timeline
• Any message you choose to write

When you submit a form we also record the IP address the submission came from, the date and time, and which page you submitted it from. We record this to help us identify and block automated spam.

Form submissions are emailed to our team at hello@themoe.com and written to a log file on our web server that is not reachable from the public internet. We do not use a third-party form or CRM service for this.

2. Information collected automatically

We use Microsoft Clarity, an analytics product from Microsoft Corporation, to understand how visitors use this site. Clarity records how you interact with pages, which can include:

• Pages viewed, time on page, and the site or link that referred you
• Mouse movement, clicks, scrolling and taps, which Clarity replays as an anonymised session recording and aggregates into heatmaps
• Browser, operating system, device type, screen size and language
• Your IP address, from which an approximate location such as city or country is derived

Clarity is designed to mask text entered into form fields, but a session recording is still a recording of your visit. We use it only to find usability problems and broken pages. We do not use it to identify individual visitors, and we do not combine it with your enquiry.

Microsoft processes this data on its own infrastructure and as a data controller in its own right. Its handling of the data is governed by the Microsoft Privacy Statement, and Microsoft retains it according to its own schedule rather than ours.

3. Server logs

Our hosting provider keeps standard web server logs, which include IP addresses, requested pages, timestamps and error records. These exist for security and for diagnosing faults.

Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets no cookies of its own for advertising or for tracking you across other websites. Microsoft Clarity sets cookies and uses similar browser storage to recognise a returning session and to stitch a recording together.

You can refuse or remove these at any time through your browser settings, or by using a tracking blocker or your browser's private browsing mode. Blocking them does not stop any part of this site from working.

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share it with advertisers. We do not use it to make automated decisions about you.

Who else sees your data

• Microsoft Corporation, for the analytics described above.
• Our hosting provider, which stores this website and its files and transmits our email.
• Authorities, where we are required by law to disclose information.

These providers operate servers outside India, so your data may be processed in other countries. We only use providers that commit to appropriate safeguards for that transfer.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry records for as long as we are in contact with you about the enquiry and for a reasonable period afterwards, so that we can pick up a conversation you resume later. You can ask us to delete yours sooner at any time.

Analytics data is held by Microsoft under its own retention schedule. Server logs are rotated by our hosting provider.

Your rights

Under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, and under the UK and EU General Data Protection Regulation where it applies to you, you can ask us to:

• Tell you what personal data of yours we hold, and give you a copy
• Correct anything that is wrong or incomplete
• Delete your data
• Stop processing it, or withdraw a consent you gave us
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf

Write to hello@themoe.com and we will respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India, or to your local supervisory authority if you are in the UK or the EU.

Children

This site is aimed at organisations, not at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS. Enquiry records are stored outside the publicly reachable part of our web server and access is limited to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send us classified, confidential or sensitive material through a web form. Contact us and we will arrange a suitable channel.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data we will update this page and change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted here.
